Lost: A Science Fiction Story
Natalie was bored with her average, everyday life. Nothing ever happened on the space station where she lived-- at least not until the day when she and her father were visited by aliens...

Entering a Contest
Finally-- a post! Speaking as the author, not as Natalie, Lost will be entered in a contest (Click HERE to see contest details). The prize: a critique of the first 10 pages of my story, something that would be extremely helpful, giving me professional guidelines as I continue to work on Lost's publication.

A New Slant-- A Note from the Author, and Beginning Again (sort of)
You will notice at least two major changes in the chapter below: first of all, I've taken you back to the beginning. When looking over the first chapter of Lost, I realized: it's boring! So I rewrote it. Also, based on suggestions, I put it in the present tense instead of the past. Tell me what you think! To read the original Chapter One, click here:

It's not easy being the only teenager on a space station.

A Note From the Author
For those of you who were wondering, Chapter 12 is not the end of Natalie's story. However, it is the end of the material that I have already written: from now on, I will be publishing brand new material, rather than chapters that were prepared ahead of time.
Sadly, life has a way of getting in the way of my writing, so further chapters are likely to be sporadic. Please forgive my slowness! I will do my best to keep you updated on the life and times of Natalie.
